about me

Personal Statement

As an interaction designer, I am interested in how people interact with physical and virtual products, systems, and each other.

I enjoy giving gifts. A great gift is one that makes you think of a person immediately and say to yourself, “this is the perfect gift for _”. It shows that you know the recipient and his/her needs and wants and habits well enough to select or create something that he/she will use and enjoy. The beauty is that the recipient probably would not have thought to buy the object otherwise. I find creating a good user experience to be much like giving great gifts.

I am inspired by open-source projects like WordPress and online communities like StackExchange and Wikipedia. I believe that all of us are smarter than any one of us and that teams almost always outperform individuals.
