A convertable low-energy desklamp powered with an array of LEDs. The lamp’s form is inspired by bioluminescent sea life. It has two configurations. The down position provides an ambient glow through the translucent plastic body, and the up position provides a more direct spot lighting. A dimmer switch allows for adjustment of the light intensity, and a rubber ring creates a firm grip.
